Goal
Empowering the representatives of the National Network of Women with Disabilities for ensuring their full and effective participation in decision-making processes on a local basis.
The project aims at empowering the representatives of the Network in the following directions:
- Political empowerment and improvement of leadership skills in order to enable them to participate locally in the processes of promotion and implementation of Article 6 (Women with Disabilities) of the Law of Georgia on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities;
- Improving the knowledge of the members of the Network on conducting social campaigns directed to changing the attitude in order to increase the awareness of the society on the National Network of Women with Disabilities and its role for the political and civil participation.
Geographic area: Tbilisi, Shida Kartli, Kakheti, Imereti and Adjara regions.
