Woman and Reality works actively to increase the civil and political participation of women (girls) with disabilities:
- In 2014, there was arranged a meeting with the women candidates for local elections in Adjara and Guria regions.
Topic of discussion: Inclusion of issues related to women with disabilities in the electoral programmes of the candidates.
- In 2018, the initiative group of women with disabilities (currently the National Network of Women with Disabilities) conducted a meeting with the candidates of the presidency.
Topic of discussion: How is the inclusion of women with disabilities considered in gender-related programmes and how much the interests of the mentioned community are integrated in the electoral programmes of the candidates.

Topic of discussion: Civil and political participation and women and girls with disabilities. During the discussion there were identified the following important issues: the vision of the candidates on civil and political participation viewed from the perspectives of women with disabilities. During the meeting the self-advocacy processes for full participation of the community in social life on an equal basis were also promoted.
