Goal
Promoting the protection and implementation of the rights of women (girls) with disabilities to reproductive health for achieving equality and social inclusion.
Geographic area: Tbilisi, Imereti, Samegrelo and Adjara regions.
Result
- The awareness of women and girls with disabilities in target regions on the rights to sexual and reproductive health is increased as well as the capacities of the community activists to advocate for their own rights in terms of sexual and reproductive health;
- The National Network of Women with Disabilities is established, operating actively in Tbilisi and regions and co-operating with local authorities;
- The advocacy for equipping the National Screening Centres with accessible gynecologic examination chairs is conducted.
