Empowering young women with disabilities to participate effectively in the achievement of inclusive democracy and gender equality (SDG 5), through training and advocacy initiatives.

Geographic area: Tbilisi, Imereti and Adjara regions. 

• The awareness of women with disabilities on the rights of women (girls) with disabilities is increased as well as their skills to protect their own rights and contribute to mainstreaming the gender issues in the disability policy;
• The awareness of women with disabilities on the intersection of disability and gender is increased (in accordance with the SDG5);
• The co-operation with Tbilisi and two municipalities of target regions has been started for integration of the issues related to women and girls with disabilities in local programmes of gender equality councils.
